Active Start & Parent 'n Tot have started up again - NEW location NEW day for Active Start
‘Parent ‘n Tot’ meets every Wednesday morning at the Rec Plex.
Parent ‘n Tot is a play group for young children ( 0-5 years) together with their parents or caregivers. Meet with other moms and dads, and let the kids play! Activities include story time, crafts and snacks.
From 10:30 am till noon every Wednesday at the Rec Plex.
This is a drop-in group and there is a drop-in fee to cover costs: a 6-visit punch card costs $20. Subsidies are available (ask one of the facilitators).
Special Olympics – Active Start: FREE
‘Active Start’ is an activity program for young athletes ( 2-6 years) with identified challenges.
Starting Tuesday, October 7: every Tuesday – EXCEPT October 14 – from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at APES gym.
Parents or Caregivers stay and help their child join in the activities
